We are a Wildfire and Disaster Support Unit Services Company
The reason we are needed...
The Power Fire
Wildfires are forces of nature, devastating thousands of acres of land, causing evacuations and destroying everything in their path. It takes manpower, teamwork and support to stop them.
Fire Camps
Incident Command Posts are set up to host, house and maintain firefighters and support the equipment and services that have been assigned to a wildfire or other emergency incident.
ICP's serve as the base for firefighting crews to spread out over the dozens and sometimes hundreds of square miles to battle the blazes, supported by air tankers, helicopters, bulldozers, water tenders and fire engines.
The ICP is the hub of activity off the fire lines.
Tents serve as offices to direct official business of the wildfire incident — from direction of firefighters on the ground and aerial support, to meals, to supply orders, finance, and health clinics. And smaller tents serve as temporary housing for the firefighters and personnel assigned.
Support units are an integral part of every fire camp.
Support Units in Camp
Within hours of the set-up of an Incident Command Post, support resources start arriving and in most cases, a small city is established within 24 to 48 hours so that fire personnel are completely supported within the incident.
Support Units such as clerical/copy trailer, handwash, showers, food caterer, weedwash, outhouses and supply keep camp life sustainable.
